Character Development

Since the beggining, we wanted expressive characters that could merge the concepts of finite lives, vulnerability as well as technically help us when producing and rendering the short.

Wax semitransparent characters could show emotion, be visually interesting and innovative, while also giving us a sense of warmth and vulnerability.

The semitransparent characters could show a heartbeat manifested in light and sound, as well as being fragile and sensitive to heat, represented by either the company it chases, or its own heartbeat.
